Last night I went to a poetry night…..I’m a big fan of poetry and I also write myself. I was looking forward to going out for a relaxing girls night out. The night was good, the artist that came to the stage had their different styles as all artist do. The night included live bands, singing and spoken words. Also food and drink was available at your request. They were some sexually explicit spoken words so if you are not into that, then that’s not the spot for you. Entry is $10 and it’s goes on every other Sunday night at Kompa Lounge located in Sunrise, Fl. Hopefully in the next month I will be preforming there as well, so if you are in South Florida, particularly in Broward you should definitely stop by especially if I’m performing.
I was accompanied by my friend Rodelyne and Kristel who is taking the picture but did not want to take any pic. Outfit was provided by Sirens $10 for the shirt, $17.99 for the pencil skirt and $30 for the red pumps. Looking stylist doesn’t have to cost you, you can just shop smart.
